FCS of Russia suggested revising the criteria of inclusion in the register for customs representatives and of their delisting. Minimizing of the reasons for the exclusion of the organizations from the register of customs representatives eases the conditions for the activities of legal entities that provide services for customs representatives in the field of customs. In particular, it is proposed to return the software for suspension of customs duties of the customs representative, excluding compulsory refresher course specialists in customs clearance, increase the term of the organization of information about the changes occurring in it within 5 to 30 working days.
Due to the wide adoption of information technologies, FCS of Russia considers to establish the possibility of application for the inclusion in the registry, not only in writing form but also by e-mail. The organizations will have a possibility to trace the course of the consideration of their appeals on-line. In December, there has been planned the acceptance of the testing and commissioning of the respective software. Its full-time job will shorten the time for public service delivery and minimizes mistakes while applying for the full-time employees which are often occurred within the organizations because of the complexities of the practice of law in the field of customs.
